The United Methodist Church of Somers Point

Pastor Eric was appointed to the United Methodist Church of Somers Point in July of 2008.  Originally from Indiana, he attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, then went to seminary at Duke Divinity School in North Carolina.  There, he met his wife Kristin Helms.  They moved to New Jersey so Kristin could pursue her PhD in Old Testament at the Princeton Theological Seminary. 

Prior to serving the United Methodist Church of Somers Point, Pastor Eric was Pastor of the Windsor United Methodist Church in Windsor, NJ and the Associate Pastor at the Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff, NJ.

Kristin and Eric are the parents of a 3 1/2 year old girl, Katie, and an 8 month old boy, Zachary.
